In our consistent effort to be a more sustainable and ethical company, these are a few of the things that we are doing today:

OUR PACKAGING
Our branded boxes are made out of recyclable material and are reusable, recyclable, and bio-degradable.

OUR LABELS
Our hang tags are letter-pressed on 100% cotton, tree free paper. Our papers are made from recovered cotton that comes from textile industry waste by-products. Cotton fibers are naturally whiter, brighter, and more durable than wood fibers. The beauty of cotton is that is contains little lignin - the compound that makes tree trunks sturdy and is alpha-cellulose, which means it requires very little bleaching.

In our effort to minimize waste and lessen our impact on the environment, please note that your order may arrive in a slightly used shipping box. 

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
We are always working to re-use and recycle as much as we can. In addition to our recycling of paper and plastic, we recently began textile recycling, in which we donate our fabric remnants to a local textile recycling organization, which then recycles our textiles for industrial use or reprocesses them back into fibers. Textile recycling has many "green" benefits including: carbon footprint reduction, clean air preservation, reduced energy consumption, water conservation, and woodland conservation. 

CRUELTY FREE
As one of the few vegetarian luxury companies in the world, we do not use fur, leather, exotic skin, or other animal by-products in our collections.

MADE IN THE UNITED STATES
Our collections are conceptualized and developed in-house in our studio in Chicago. Manufacturing in the United States enables us to support local community businesses, minimizes carbon footprint from transportation, and support the economic growth of domestic employement.
